for artists
Be one of the first artists in a small experiment.
We're running a small experiment in mailing original art to strangers. We're looking for a handful of artists to be in it from the start.
PostARTing mails original, handmade postcards to people who want real art in their hands. not prints, not AI. The pilot is how we figure out what this becomes.
Money talk, up front
This is an unfunded pilot. We cover supplies and postage. When paid subscriptions launch, artists earn a small stipend, and pilot artists get first access to those slots.
What pilot artists get:
Your name and a link to your site, Instagram, or something equivalent printed on the back of every card you make.
A dedicated artist page on our site with links to your portfolio and socials.
Recipient reactions routed back to you after cards arrive, so you hear what people thought.
A bounded, finishable ask: 5–10 cards over two months, not an open-ended quota.
First access to paid artist slots when paid subscriptions launch.
We're building something small and intentional, and we'd love for your voice to be part of it from the start. You'll be one of the first artists subscribers get to discover.
the specs
What the physical work looks like
Every piece is mailed as a postcard. Here's what that means for the art you make.
Original art only. No prints, no digital reproductions, no AI-generated images.
Postcard sized. Think 4 x 6 inches or 5 x 7 inches. Small enough to feel personal, large enough to show your work.
Mailable with a single postage stamp. Keep substrate and embellishments thin and lightweight.
Sturdy enough to survive the mail. Paper, cardstock, or thin board work well. Fragile materials may not make it. Every piece gets mailed in a protective vellum sleeve.
